Grex 2.0 · October–November 2026
Can a better planner page earn more visits?
A Grex-built WeatherRuta content change is live. Its search-growth outcome is still pending.
Observation open · decision scheduled for November 27, 2026
The content change shipped on October 30. As of November 4, the experiment has a recorded baseline but no outcome decision. Deployment is verified; search growth has not been established.

A change is live
Grex implemented a content change for WeatherRuta, a route weather website. The planner page gained a road-trip section and four frequently asked questions. The change shipped on October thirtieth.
Start with a baseline
The retained baseline reports nineteen clicks, one thousand one hundred ninety-eight impressions, and average search position ten point six. Those numbers are operator-attested measurements for October first through twenty-eighth.
One page, two stages
The experiment asks whether the page reaches a position better than seven, or doubles its clicks. That hypothesis was recorded after deployment. Observation runs through November twenty-seventh.
Outcome pending
As of November fourth, there is no completed outcome decision. The implementation was reviewed and deployed, but those facts do not establish that more people found or visited the page.
Limits on attribution
This is one page without an untreated control. The comparison windows differ, and a later sitemap change also affects interpretation. Any movement needs to be assessed with those limits visible.
Wait for the evidence
The decision stays open until measurement. The experiment record separates shipped work from demonstrated growth, and leaves room for improvement, no observed effect, or an inconclusive result.
What were we trying to find out?
Would a road-trip section and four-question FAQ improve search visibility or clicks for WeatherRuta’s route weather planner page?
Hypothesis
Adding the road-trip section, four-question FAQ and FAQPage markup would improve the page’s average search position to better than 7, or double its search clicks.
This hypothesis and the measurement window were entered into Grex’s idea record on October 31, after the October 30 deployment. It is a recorded experiment hypothesis, not a claim of preregistration before the intervention. The structured metric tracks average position; doubled clicks is the alternate criterion recorded in the hypothesis.
How the experiment worked
Use an existing page with measurable search impressions, ask Grex to implement a bounded content improvement, independently review the submitted change and deploy it. Compare page-level Search Console measurements after the observation period.

Record the search baseline
The retained idea record contains an operator-attested October 1–28 baseline: 1,198 impressions, 19 clicks and average position 10.6. This public summary does not independently reconstruct the Search Console export.
Ship a bounded content change
Grex produced a road-trip section, four FAQ answers and FAQPage structured data using existing page facts. The accepted revision was merged and deployed on October 30.
Track the observation window
The experiment record sets October 30–November 27 as the measurement period. The target and baseline were entered on October 31.
Decide from page-level evidence
The planned decision checks search position and clicks against the recorded baseline. The November 4 record still has an open outcome; no growth result is substituted for that decision.
Controls and differences
- The intervention stayed on one existing route-planner page and restated existing product facts.
- The implementation received independent engineering review; that is not evidence of traffic lift.
- No randomized assignment or simultaneous untreated page was specified. Search demand, indexing and other changes can affect the outcome.
- A subsequent sitemap change also added this page. Any later movement cannot be attributed solely to the FAQ intervention.
- The baseline and observation windows are not identical in length; the final comparison must state the exact dates and account for that difference.

A delivery result is available
The accepted Grex change was merged and deployed. The work connects a traffic observation to a bounded implementation and a recorded measurement plan.
A growth result is not available yet
As of November 4, the idea remains in test disposition with an open outcome. Its retained measurement is the historical baseline, not a completed post-change evaluation.
The record exposes attribution limits
The experiment was recorded after deployment and uses a before-and-after comparison. It can inform the next content decision, but it cannot isolate the causal effect of FAQ text or structured data.
What this does not establish
- One page, an open observation window and no untreated control do not establish traffic lift.
- The baseline is operator-attested; this write-up does not independently audit Search Console data.
- The recorded metric is average position, while the hypothesis also allows doubled clicks. The final decision must disclose which criterion was met.
- A later sitemap change and unequal date windows complicate attribution and raw click comparisons.
The decision
Keep the outcome open until the planned measurement date. Do not market the deployed change as demonstrated growth.
What followed
Evaluate the page’s search measurements on November 27, state the exact comparison windows, preserve any intervening changes and record success, no observed improvement or an inconclusive result.
